Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home in nature — including real toilets, showers, and kitchen.
If you are looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds, this space by the vineyard is perfect. It provides the camping experience with a bit of luxury, and you will have the whole site to yourselves. It can be booked for up to 3 vans (maximum 10 people) If you have friends that want to join you, but they don't have a caravan, you can also book the Glamping POD located on the other side of the facilities (see photos). This is an additional cost of $100 per night - BYO linen. Fire drums are available, and wood is included for your first night. (fires are not permitted during times of restrictions) There is a gas BBQ and hotplate on a fire drum for cooking outside if you prefer. There is full access to the enclosed modern but rustic in appearance bathroom with a shower and vanity, kitchenette and living area, TV, breakfast bar looking out over the vineyard for the rainy days. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, mini oven, kettle, toaster, electric frying pan and some crockery and cutlery. At the rear of the building there is a separate building attached with a toilet and sink. The facilities are for your exclusive use and have power and water. Please note, there is no power or water connections for vans and vans should be self-contained. Guest access: The family home and sheds on the property are private. As is the Railway Bed and Breakfast located on the other side of the family home. There are tracks around the property as well as through the adjacent Westgate Reserve for you to walk which still has remnants of Chinese gold mining. We ask that guests do not walk through the vineyard due to the spread of pests and disease. There is access to a paddock at the top of the hill where we have a ‘Sunset Seat’ and a table and chairs located to view the sunset over the Grampians. The Grampians are a 40 minute drive away where you will be spoilt for choice for walks and swimming holes. Because of the location being so close to the vineyard there may be some vineyard work or machinery that may go past your site. We will plan not to do this during your stay, or keep to a minimum if essential. There is a wine tasting room near the house that is open by appointment. Wine and preserves are available to purchase directly from the owners. Wine tasting is included in your booking fee for those interested. Interaction with guests: Andrew and Katrina live in the family home on the property and can be contacted by phone if needed. Someone will try to be here to greet you where possible. Hosts Andrew and Katrina are happy to answer questions about the local area, activities, events, wines and foodie havens. Other things to note: **** Bookings for this will only open up 4 weeks in advance. Please check back 4 weeks out from your intended travel date or send an enquiry **** **** not available during July and August ***** - We have a friendly border collie dog named Milo and a cat named Patty that may come to say hello. Please do not feed our pets anything. - There are unfenced dams on the property. - We have a no party policy which includes loud music. This is to maintain the peace and quiet of the area for us, our Neighbours and guests in the Bed and Breakfast. - The facilities are rustic and while cleaned can get some dust and the odd bug due to its location. - Guests must agree to comply with vineyard biosecurity guidelines to avoid the spread of pests and disease, this includes not being able to walk through the vine rows. - There is limited phone reception (1-2 bars) and no WiFi – WiFi is available in the Cellar Door. - Food options include shared platters are available to guests who feel like a night off cooking. ($60 for 2 people )See the photos for more information. - Please wash and dry any dishes you use during your stay and leave the facilities tidy on your departure. - Please contact us first if you would like to bring your pet. - The Glamping POD can be booked as a standalone accommodation for $150 a night with all linen. The site is a grassed area with a large tree that is located by the vineyard. Glamping and wine tasting!
The whole experience was fantastic. The accommodations were great, the surroundings were magnificent, we could watch both sunrise and sunset. The weather was perfect, sunny and blue skies. Our hosts Katrina and Andrew are just a delightful couple, we felt welcomed and spoiled with little treats, including the amazing breakfast hamper, the wine tasting, and everything in between. We had a couple of friends camping next to us, and will be back with more friends to share the experience.

Camping on a Vineyard
From the time we arrived to the time we left, all of us had smiles on our faces. Katrina and Andrew were fantastic hosts, a great Good Friday arvo tasting wines and sharing a platter was time well spent. The greeting you get from Milo is worth the visit, but to get one everyday is something the kids have not stopped talking about. Great wines, great camping spot with a place for shelter from the rain, great hosts and a great Easter weekend. Will be telling more of our friends about this super place. 10 stars

Perfect couple’s getaway
Such an amazing location & experience. Katrina & Andrew we’re both amazing hosts and we’ll be definitely booking again! We camped out right next to the vineyards & had this amazing area all to ourselves. The wine taste testing was such a fun experience…all the wine was amazing…we ended up buying a variety of different types :) We also had a platter delivered to us, which is definitely a must! Such a good selection of foods, cheeses and desserts. Also the site was really well equipped…the hosts provide you with a sheltered area, fridge, fire pit, bbq and so much more! Honestly, a 10/10 experience.

A hidden jewel set amongst the vine
Katrina & Andrew provided an amazing retreat set amongst the rolling hills of Armstrong & Great Western. The facilities were effectively a self contained unit minus the bedroom with all of the creature comforts not contained in our camper van. The added bonus was having your own personalised wine tasting and enjoying some great whites & reds. While the property is a working vineyard we had complete privacy and access to a very special bench overlooking the Grampians with many spectacular sunsets
