Our farm is located in Carrajung Lower, Central Gippsland where is 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne. As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house. With a 52 acre property we run miniature Herefords and sheep to keep our land green and produce ethically raised 100% grass fed beef and lamb. Each site has three levels. The top level is for vans and/or tents; the middle level is for tents only and the bottom level is the fire pit area. Surrounded by pine plantation and native trees, you can enjoy secluded time without neighbours except native animals and birds! What you can do around here: 30 minutes drive to Tarra Bulga National Park, Woodside Beach and Maryvale Pines MTB track. 20 minutes to Yarram for shopping and awesome coffee, also popular for Heesco murals. Outdoor swimming pool is open in summer time where you can have a hot shower. 5 minutes to Carrajung Estate which has exceptional wine and incredible cuisine. Ride our new mountain bike trail (750m loop with a few jumps for all ages and abilities)

Wonderful secluded spot with views
Gorgeous spot. Secluded with beautiful views. Minimal to no reception with Aldi (Telstra towers) or Optus which was perfect. Composting toilet close by, other campers far enough away to mostly feel alone.

Site One - Privacy
Our family loved camping at Kookaburra Ridge; especially on site 1. Surrounded by beautiful trees, with three cleared spaces for playing, sleeping and eating. We had views to the dam and our own private composting toilet and water tank! We loved the bird life; ducks on the dam, black cockatoos and of course kookaburras. It was close to Tarra-Bulga National Park where we spent half a day exploring. We would definitely stay again.

Thanks for a little quiet place to rest and relax. Good distance to check out Yarram and toilet with a view was lovely. Thanks to the family hosts who were very responsive and helpful.
