$50/night for 2 people. Remote farm at the end of a road, no neighbours, and spectacular views of the Grampians (Gariwerd) that is most stunning in the morning as the sun hits Mt William. One camp site (one group only). The site accepts 8 people but if you are just two people you will have the place to yourselves except for the kangaroos, wallabies, emus, echidnas and birdlife. The campsite is situated next to our family's holiday farmhouse that we visit sometimes, but only when there are no guest campers. There is a fire pit with grill plates available to cook over the fire (note open fires cannot occur when fire restrictions are in place). Campers have access to the flush toilet, hot shower and kitchen in the house. The house is a work in progress. We are slowly renovating the house, so it is a bit rough but it is clean and functional and you will have the place to yourselves. Please respect the locked private areas of the house. Campers are expected to bring their own cooking pots, plates, cutlery, camp chairs, etc. Only 4 km from Moyston where you can get great coffee and visit the historic Mine Walk. Halls Gap is 35km away or head through the mountains over Redmans Road that takes you the scenic route to Halls Gap (2WD accessible in dry weather). Kalymna Falls and picnic ground is a beautiful 15 min bush drive from the farm. If you like homemade jams, chutneys, ice cream and fudge, drop in and see Anita and Andy at Five Ducks Farm near Pomonal (https://fiveducksfarm.com.au/)From $50/night for 2 people. Gariwerd Farm Camp
Jason was an excellent host proving great instructions and a list of things to do and see while we were in the area. The campsite was perfect, away from any hustle and bustle of the more popular and crowded areas. So quiet and peaceful with an amazing view of Mount William. We loved our stay here.

A great place to re-set
We loved Gariwerd Farm Camp. The property was so peaceful and well maintained. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were spotless. We only used the toilet because we had our own shower and cooking facilities but it was good to know they were there. It was great having the place to ourselves and the kangaroos, wallabies and birds. We even saw some emus at The Nook. The view of Gariwerd in the morning was stunning, especially as the sun came out. Despite being beautifully secluded, it's surprisingly close (5 min drive) to Moyston General Store which makes great coffee and a lovely oat chai. Thanks Jason, til next time.

Gariwerd Farm Camp
Perfect secluded spot to take time away. We loved the clear views of the Grampians the space provided and that our two kelpies could roam and play comfortable. Having access to the kitchen and bathroom in the farm house make camping setup so much simpler.

Sensational!
Whilst we had the most horrendous weather during our Christmas trip (5 days of torrential rain, thunder, lightning & hail!!) we had a wonderful stay. The views (when the clouds cleared) were sensational, we loved being so far away from other people, the wildlife was plentiful, the bathroom and kitchen facilities were a welcome addition to our tent, as was the lounge that we escaped to on a number of evenings. Jason was a great host & provided detailed instructions & directions. We enjoyed it so much that we booked our next trip before we’d left!
