Full privacy with only one group per secluded site. Spacious level grassy campsites on the Towamba River, a pristine estuary that runs into Twofold Bay. 10 minutes on bitumen south of Eden and close to many of the Sapphire Coast's stunning coastline, National Parks and attractions.
We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share!
Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river.
Once you have booked let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily.
Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water. Site #2 has access to our composting toilet. You'll need to bring your own chemical toilet for Site #1 (near) Boatramp site.
Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Feel free to collect your own kindling - plenty around). Good mobile reception on the Telstra network.
PLEASE NOTE: the property is currently listed for sale. We are happy to take forward bookings with this understanding and will contact all booked parties well in advance if we sell. The market is very slow so we do not expect a fast sale and will ask for a long settlement so please still book :)

A wonderful 32 acre property in Cabbage Tree Creek, with 5 dams and an abundance of native flora and fauna. Only a minutes walk from a quaint “outback” general store with giftware, lunch and a good coffee.
Onsite we have a range of farm animals (cows, chickens and sheep). Locally there are many walks and tracks ideal for families wanting to see some of what Gippsland has to offer.
Situated on the Princes Highway, about 18 minutes from Orbost and 10 minutes drive from a public dump station. If you’re travelling between Sydney and Melbourne and want a peaceful break, this is it!
Campers must be self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure (Public black water disposal site 10 mins towards Orbost)

Clydie’s Knob

Clydie’s Knob is located in Wonboyn, 30 minutes south of Eden on the NSW South Coast.
Situated on Wonboyn Lake, you’ll have direct access to fishing and swimming with the ability to launch a kayak or small boat. Larger boats can be launched in Wonboyn village which is a 5 minute drive from the campsite.
The cleared grassy campsite is on 65 acres of bush land where you’ll find kangaroos, wallaby’s, wombats and plenty of birdsong.
A fire pit is available for use when fire bans aren't in place.
There is plenty of fallen timber on the ground which you are welcome to collect and use for the fire pit but strictly no falling of trees.
Clydie’s Knob is surrounded by the Nadgee Nature Reserve which offers bushwalking, birdwatching and swimming in a pristine landscape.
The beaches offer great diving, snorkelling, swimming, surfing and picnic areas, all within 15 minutes of our campsite.
A pit toilet is available at the site. Please note - This is not fancy! But it does provide privacy. Please ensure that you bring your own hygiene products and toilet paper as this will not be provided. Only toilet paper and paper towel is to be disposed of in the toilet, sanitary items must be placed in your bin.
All rubbish is to be removed at the end of your stay and we ask that you leave the property as you found it.
4WD or AWD is recommended for access to the property.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but they must be kept on leash at all times.

Konda Blueberry Farm

Konda Blueberry Farm is located 10 minutes drive from Marlo, and 15 minutes from the beautiful Cape Conran beaches. The Farm is set on 132 acres of bushland, with about 15 acres cleared for the abundant blueberry orchard.
There are many bush tracks throughout the property to explore and a large community of birdlife is everpresent. We do recommend a 4WD as the ground in some areas is quite sandy.
We have two sites for campers (for either tents and RVs) that are tucked into cleared bushland areas, with lovely bush views, and privacy for just your own group. You'll need to be fully independent, with your own toilet, water and shower, and must take all waste when you depart.
Campfires are permitted, and there are two firepits on site. We also welcome dogs! Please just ensure they are kept under control at all times.
We don't offer self-picking at our farm, however when the berries are in season (Jan - Feb), you are welcome to purchase punnets picked that day! Fresh blueberries for your campfire breakfast, yum!

Overview
About
Stretching for more than 100 kilometres along the coast of far-east Victoria, Croajingolong National Park encompasses some of the state’s wildest coastline. Hike rugged sea cliffs and sweeping sand dunes along the Wilderness Coast Walk, admire the views from Point Hicks Lightstation, or go boating and canoeing around Mallacoota Lakes and Wingan Inlet. Coastal camping doesn’t get much better than this, whether you pitch your tent by the beach, park your campervan by the creek, or paddle out to camp on a remote island in the Tamboon Inlet. Wildlife lovers will also be in their element—whales, dolphins, and more than 250 bird species can be spotted in the park.
Notable campgrounds
- Best for families: Thurra River Campground has 46 unpowered sites, some suitable for campervans and camper trailers.
- Best for caravans: Peachtree Creek Campground has 11 unpowered sites and is the only campground with sealed road access suitable for caravans.
- Best for getting on the water: Wingan Inlet Campground has easy access to the Wingan River Rapids and the islands of Fly Cove.
Tips for snagging a campsite
- Advance bookings are required for Shipwreck Creek, Thurra River, Wingan Inlet, Mueller Inlet, and Peachtree Creek campgrounds.
- You can book online via the Parks Victoria website up to six months in advance.
- Campsites can book up fast during peak season (December to February), especially over weekends and school holidays. Book at least three months in advance to avoid disappointment.
When to go
Boasting some of Victoria’s warmest winter temperatures, the state’s far-eastern coastline is a year-round destination. Come in summer to swim and paddle along the coast, in spring to go bird-watching and admire the wildflowers, or in winter to fish, hike, and spot southern-right and humpback whales—whale-watching season runs from August through October.

- Croajingolong National Park is 450 km east of Melbourne, along the Princes Highway. The main roads and camping areas are accessible by 2WD, but many roads within the park are unsealed and not recommended for caravans.
- There is no admission fee for Croajingolong National Park, but camping fees apply.
- Park facilities include restrooms, picnic areas, and boat launches. There are gas stations, shops, and other amenities available at Mallacoota and Bemm River.
- Pets are not permitted within the park.
- There are accessible picnic areas, restrooms, and campsites within the park.
