Happy New Year Stay
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin- it was exactly what we were looking for and was such a special place to ring in the New Year. It is secluded and quiet with all of the amenities we needed for our stay. We cooked dinner over the outside fire and enjoyed our morning coffee in front of the wood stove. The gas cook stove inside was perfect for cooking our breakfast. We ended our stay by exploring the land and walking amongst the maple trees that will be tapped for their sugaring operation come spring. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax in nature and you enjoy more rustic but very comfortable amenities, this is the place for you!

We loved staying in the cabin! Darren was very communicative and hospitable. You can see the amount of time and effort that went into making the cabin a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. We will definitely be back!

We very much enjoyed our stay! Darren was communicative and accommodating- the cloudiness and rain caused the solar not to work well, but he made sure we were taken care of by getting us a lantern. The area is beautiful - especially this time of year! My friends and I are already talking about a return trip.

Darren was a very friendly and helpful host: he literally tried to accommodate my every need! The woods were so beautiful and peaceful, and the location was as private as I’d hoped. I could only here some distant highway traffic and the sounds of nature. I would have loved to stay here in a tent in the woods, rather than in the cabin, but didn’t think to pack a tent. Be sure to pack light to make the 10-minute hike up the road, or ask Darren for a lift. The hike wasn’t bad, just not worth the extra weight carried in. Thanks, Darren, for you kindness!
