Once part of an active dairy farm, our property sits on the Burke Green Road ridge, surrounded by a corn field, a sugarbush, and quintessential Northeast Kingdom views. The campsite is located in a flat, grassy area, surrounded by tall trees. The site includes a picnic table and fire pit, and two Adirondack chairs, a portable Weber charcoal grill, and a private port-o-potty.
While the campsite is out of site in a private area, our house sits on the property, and there are two barns. Our 3 Nigerian dwarf goats Wally, Bella and Mooney will likely greet you upon your arrival.
This property is less than a 10 minute drive to East Burke Village, 12 minutes to Burke Mountain, 25 minutes to Lake Willoughby (11 miles). If you are a mountain biker, the property is 3/4 miles from the Good 'N You Trail on the Kingdom Trails network and a quick drive to the East Haven lot. Burke Green Road is also a popular road on gravel bike routes, so jump on your bike and ride right from the property!Pitch your tents in this private area, tucked away from Burke Green Road in East Burke, VT.
