Oasis off the Colorado River
Quiet, off the beaten path. Historic bridge as its backdrop. This one made it into the little black book. We liked the pace better than anywhere we have been.

Spring break stay
The space was perfect! Easy parking, electric, water, and sewer hookups per spot, waking distance to the river, and away from everything! Peaceful and great for family get aways.

The positive: great campsite to spend time with friend and family. Some of the campsites come with a picnic table, and there is a small comunal fire you can use. The place has a restroom, so that you may shower after a day of hiking in a state park such as Colorado Bend. Also the bridge has great view on sunrise and sunset. The negative: it would be better if the campsites were finished. It seems that somebody was working on the campsites to renew them, but then the project stalled. However, nothing to worry about as it’s part of camping.

Convenience of firewood and nice bathroom made the trip even better! Very nice and green, great little spot to set up and get away for a weekend.
