From Caddo Indians, pioneers, homesteaders, this land has seen it all. Now it is a ranch with an event venue, horses, farm animals, trails, fishing ponds and camping. A true "Country Club" where you can escape your world and the stresses of technology in the style you wish. We have two on site RV's, and event venue, with 3 private bathrooms with showers, a club bar, catering kitchen and so much more! Perfect for the family that has a "glamper" and those who want to "rough it". Big enough to handle family reunions, weddings and parties yet .. big enough to give you the privacy you seek! Contact us for special events. Close by are the towns of Mt pleasant, Daingerfield and Pittsburg. All have downtown areas with boutiques, antique and second hand shops to visit. There are several museums in the area including the Mid America Flight Museum - a private museum of 60 vintage airplanes in flyable condition. In pittsburg there is the Ezekial aircraft and local history museum. also within 20 miles are major likes for water sports and sport fishing beyond our own famous "Catfish pond".

Site 4 - RV Camping at Coppergate Ranch

Coppergate Ranch was a fun and unique experience. We enjoyed hanging out with the farm animals and learning about their care. The hosts were generous in offering a fun place and great to chat with

Catfish Pond

A gem

We loved it here, had the entire pond to ourselves on one of the busiest weekends of the year (eclipse 2024). None of the others campers came to swim or fish, so my kids and I got lots of kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming in. It was a blast. We would definitely return to this same site given the chance! We also got to learn line dancing at the community center. The hosts were great!

Camping at the Farm - Tent 2

Private campsite and main building is close by with hot shower and toilets. Lots of fun animals on the grounds as well.

2021 Hartland RV

Nice getaway with some minor issues

Lynda and Rustin were very kind & helpful hosts. The camper was comfortable, though we had an issue with the a/c not working--it was a newer camper, so apparently they will be getting it fixed under warranty. But he tried really hard to get it fixed while we were there, and went out of his way to grab us some dinner on the night it started raining when we missed the time frame when they were doing some BBQ. Be aware that if you have smaller or less-socialized dogs who like to be outside, there can sometimes be other larger dogs roaming the property, and they could overwhelm your dogs. There are some nice trails to walk, which have some of the Halloween trail decorations still up. The pavilion event building is very nice, with full bathrooms available & kitchen access, as well as a bar and pool table and other games. They had a band for the night before the eclipse that was great!

Site 3 - RV Camping at Coppergate Ranch

First hipcamp for eclipse

Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. We had a large area to pick where we wanted our tent and we had no trouble finding a nice level spot. Kids had a blast with all the animals and enjoyed the small playground. The night before the eclipse they had a small band and a big potluck style meal.

Tyler Park - Outhouse site -1

Lynda was an amazing host--really friendly and communicative. The property is close enough to town that you'll want for nothing, and I liked the catfish pond and good tree cover all around. Highly recommend!
