We're happy that we can open up our land for campers. We operate a pecan tree nursery and Pecan Orchard. On the south side of the farmhouse is a 80-year-old native pecan tree. You can enjoy wooded walking paths in the 80-acre forest and pastures, ponds and wildlife, including deer, wild hogs, hawks, owls, roadrunners, doves, cardinals, jays, woodpeckers, mockingbirds, and many other species of birds. Small mammals such as armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels are often seen, and the property is also awesome for stargazing. Please watch out for snakes, scorpions, pesky mosquitoes and ticks. This land has been a huge blessing to us and we hope you will enjoy your stay here.

Site 6 - Sandy Ridge Camping

Really nice property with easy access to the Canton market. The campsite was quiet and private and the hosts were both friendly and unobstrusive.

Ingrid was very kind and her & Cody's land is beautiful. Campsites are private and the driveway was well maintained. Firewood and pecans for purchase onsite are an extra bonus and would recommend!

Rain Camping at Sandy Ridge

Hosts were really flexible with us arriving really late. Campsite was private and beautiful. It rained while we were there but didn't make the trip any less enjoyable. Would camp there again.

Wonderful camping experience

LOVED it here! Favorite place I’ve camped so far. Solo female camper, so I’m very picky where I go. Quiet, private, and felt very safe. I will definitely be back.

Private, easy, friendly car camping

Nice spot. Large clearing with slope down to the pond. Site has flat and simple access for multiple tents. Site includes fire pit and picnic table. No other sites in view. Property has a well done toilet and shower available. Dog friendly people and property. Accessible from DFW. Ingrid is very friendly but respectful. If you're looking for private and easy car camping, then this property perfect.
