This is a remote 4x4 only campsite, unless you plan to walk down the dirt road which is totally okay đ. The dirt road/path is roughly 600 feet long down a steep mountain side. The property is a little over a 1/4 mile from the Appalachian trail!
The planned campsite will be at the bottom of the mountain in a grassy field near a creek. Youâre welcome to explore the property and surrounding area by foot. Planned 4x4 trails in the future for over landing style camping. There is Wi-Fi at the old house being renovated at the top of the property when you pull in. Eventually Wi-Fi will extend to the bottom. Youâre welcome to camp anywhere on the property as long as you clean up đ I will supply firewood if needed or you can use anything downed if you want that full mountain experience. An easier route to the bottom is being planned for the future but youâre welcome to hit the road as is if you are comfortable in your 4x4 ability ( I drive down in a crew cab tundra) . The bottom of the property where the camp sites will be is located in a grassy field that is regularly mowed and maintained. Youâre welcome to tent camp anywhere on the property! This listing is very close to the AT if you plan on hiking or having a place to chill for a few days to relax in the mountains of nc. This is a work in progress so any ideas are welcomed. Water is available on the property from a natural spring. 110v Electric hookup can be provided on request if camping near the in progress house at the top. Wi-Fi available as well near the house.
