The best part about this site are the views! Relax on the side of the Cumberland Plateau while overlooking Burroughs Cove and the Elk River. There is an electrical box at each end of the graveled parking area (Sites 1 & 2) with 20 and 30 amp plugs. A water container with non-potable water is on site for your use. There is also an outhouse, picnic table, and a fire ring. We are located just minutes away from the The Caverns, South Cumberland State Park, Bigfoot Adventures, and many other attractions. The graveled camping area is fairly close to Hwy 50 so please expect to hear some road noise. Need firewood? Please let us know at least 48 hours prior to arrival and we can coordinate to have it delivered to your campsite before you arrive, enough wood for the night (and then some) $35.

The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Most of the roads are accessible in any small car, but some roads require 4x4 (they're marked with a sign). We have a bath house with toilets, showers, and sinks and even offer hot water! Our well and cabins are all solar powered as we are not on the electric grid. There is an electrical box at each end of the graveled parking area (Sites 1 & 2) with 20 and 30 amp plugs. A water container with non-potable water is on site for your use. There is also an outhouse, picnic table, and a fire ring. We are located just minutes away from the The Caverns, South Cumberland State Park, Bigfoot Adventures, and many other attractions. The graveled camping area is fairly close to Hwy 50 so please expect to hear some road noise. Need firewood? Please let us know at least 48 hours prior to arrival and we can coordinate to have it delivered to your campsite before you arrive, enough wood for the night (and then some) $35.

I bought way too much land just before the real estate bust and learned how to turn a nice fortune into a very small one. I faced challenges and had lots of fun. Now I want to share our experience. Overview

A wooded retreat in Sequatchie Valley, Dunlap brings campers closer to the Tennessee wilderness. Kayak down the Tennessee River from an in-town, pet-friendly RV park with 30- and 50-amp hookups and access to showers. West of Dunlap, sandstone cliffs and waterfalls await in Savage Gulf State Natural Area. State-park campgrounds offer backcountry tent sites or cabin rentals when the weather is cooler. Amenities often include potable water, firepits, and pit toilets. For a bit of glamping, reserve a lakefront campsite at Harrison Bay State Park, home to Jack Nicklaus’ renowned golf course, Bear Trace at Harrison Bay. Play 18 holes before a day of boating and fishing on Chickamauga Lake. Shoreline campsites include water, sewer, and electric hookups, as well as easy access to a centralized dump station, a playground, and bathhouses. Firewood and supplies are available for purchase at the camp store.
