We moved to East TN in 2011 simply to enjoy the temperate seasons and our amazing view. In 2014, we established a longhorn ranch, focusing on harvesting grass-fed longhorn beef. The health benefits and ease of raising these majestic and naturally-adaptable animals was the big draw for us choosing the longhorn breed. We recently sold the "house on a hill with the wraparound porch" and acquired 93 amazing acres in Hancock County, 20 miles from where we began. We are an active longhorn cattle ranch and our property offers fresh springs, lots of woods to explore, open fields, mountain and piedmont settings with lots of wildlife and natural settings. We are opening our land initially for PRIMITIVE CAMPERS to enjoy the quiet and natural settings while respecting our fences and cattle herds. You can visit with us to learn more about what we do or simply unplug from the world in the woods.

Camping @ 4 Corners Ranch

Ranch retreat paradise

We had a wonderful stay at Ranch Retreat!!! It was neat to visit a working Longhorn cattle farm and we loved all of their animals. The view from the porch is spectacular, morning and night. Kim and Allen were excellent hosts, and we look forward to a return visit. If you want a hospitable, beautiful getaway in East Tennessee, this is it!
