We have 21 acres in the sand hills of Calhoun county just outside Columbia S C. Apply named Too Many Oaks Plantation, a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy time in your hammock reading by day and a roaring bonfire by night, We are planting a small mixed fruit orchard and building a chicken coop and garden to enjoy fresh eggs and whatever is in season. Close to Columbia ( 30 minutes ) for a nice trip to the zoo or a float down the Saluda River with Adventure Carolina. A perfect mix of nice and quite but still close to town.Pitch your tent in the Oak grove and have access to your own picnic table and fire pit. Wonder through the wood and enjoy nature or hang your hammock in a shady spot to enjoy the day, at night, enjoy the stars in the front pasture and a big fire at your campsite. Don't worry about bringing fire wood we have too many oak trees and have piles of cut wood around the area. We are close to Columbia and you should drive in on Saturday morning to enjoy Soda City our main street farmers market. We are working on the garden and chicken coop now to bring our little farm to life.

Camping among the oak trees
I loved the lights in the oak tree. I arrived late so it was easy to locate the site due to the lights. There was a technical glitch where I rented the spot, and made my way there. Once I showed up I noticed a car was already there though. I checked my email and confirmation but also received an email asking me to confirm my reservation. It was late and my payment had gone through so I just pulled up on the other side of the camp and car camped as I had planned. The other car was up and moving about before I was so I had some time to enjoy the site by myself for a little before I hit the road. I’m not complaining here, just stating my experience. The site was big enough for us to both park no issue! There was also a cute swing tied to the oak that I enjoyed for a little. Would stay again as I could just pull up and leave no contact.

Camping among the oak trees
This was great for a same day booking. My group were traveling on motorcycles and needed a primitive camping spot for one night. Don't expect anthing more than a place to put your tent or hammock. It was quite and private.

Magical stay in the woods
We loved our stay on Michael's magic land. He was very responsive and accommodating. The lights in the tree and table and chairs were a nice touch. We stayed on site 1 with our 35ft 5th wheel. It was a little challenging getting in because of the telephone pole at the end of the driveway...however, if you have a bigger rig, go past the driveway to Horsefeathers road and there is plenty of space to turn around and come back to make the turn into the driveway. This property is a work in progress and we can't wait to come back and stay in the future to see where it goes.

The Cutest Campsite
This is such a great place to camp! It feels very private but not secluded which is perfect. There's lots of open space to park and it was easy to find. I came in after dark and was greeted with the prettiest lights and a fire that was ready to light! I would definitely recommend staying here:)

Very peaceful, cozy spot! Lots of brush to burn, and the outlets in the tree were a very nice touch
