Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Close to Toowoomba, located at Westbrook, Windy Acres Farm is a lavender and bee farm. With beautiful sunsets over Bunkers Hill and in view of the gorgeous lavender. Drive in and pick your spot for a night or two. Sites are set close to the natural waterway under the gum trees. You can throw a yabby pot in our dam to catch a few for dinner.​ Windy Acres Farm is close enough to Toowoomba to explore the region or perfect for a stop over along the Gore Highway. Not suitable in wet weather. Guests must be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Close to local shops to restock or grab some takeaway. Campfires are welcome but must be kept contained and be supervised at all times. BYO firewood. Great host who was very welcoming and up for a chat about bees and lavender. Quiet field of the road. Great view of the bee hives and lavender farm. Good sunset views. Definitely try the lavender honey and lavender teas.

Great open paddock, accommodated our group perfectly. Good location to discover Toowoomba and surrounds. The farm shop was lovely and brunch Sunday morning was delicious.

Good flat open paddock. Lovely views, plenty of space to spread out. Accommodated our group perfectly. Great location to discover Toowoomba and surrounds. The farm shop

Windy Acres Lavender & Bee Farm
I would highly recommend staying at Windy Acers. The camp site was kept nice with it all mowed and a great view. Alicia was an exceptional host so lovely to talk to, also very helpful and welcoming. It was such a nice spot to stay in a great location close to town. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a camp spot and will definitely return and stay again in the future. 🙌🏼🪻🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Alicia greeted us on arrival and advised us on best places to camp. Great camping spot and close to town We were hiking so got up early and left before trying the coffee and shop. Next time for sure Thanks Rob
