Hope Valley

43 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents1375 acres · Amamoor Creek, QLD
4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Cabins in Sunshine Coast guide

Overview

One of Australia's most romantic getaways and family-friendly destinations is just a 90-minute drive from Brisbane, and home to plenty of warm-weather cabin rentals. The Sunshine Coast is famed for its beaches, national parks, and easy access to Australia Zoo, while in the nearby coastal communities of Noosa, Caloundra, and Mooloolaba, you'll find holiday homes within a short drive or walking distance of the beach, plus some oceanview vacation rentals. This is the place to stay if you're looking for cute cafes and strong wifi. But if you want to truly disconnect and reconnect with your loved ones, head up into the Sunshine Coast Hinterland—especially the area between Maleny, Montville, and Eumundi. Here, you can discover treehouse hideaways, luxury cabins, pet-friendly accommodations, and some of the best glamping in Australia. Cabin rentals here tend to be self-contained with kitchens and ensuites. Whatever you do, don't forget to pack your togs—in addition to the area's waterfalls, you might be able to take a dip in your cabin's hot tub.
