Our property is located in the heart of Rathdowney, gateway to the picturesque Scenic Rim. If you’re passing by, you’re welcome to drop in. There’s almost always somewhere you can set up for the night.  Be COVID-safe! You’ll need to provide us with your name, address, mobile, email and vehicle registration. It helps us to keep everyone safe. We have powered and unpowered sites available for independent travellers.  On-site at the Rathdowney Memorial Grounds it's an easy walk across the street for supplies, or for dinner at the local. We have toilets and hot showers available! The ovals have lights. There is access to drinking water and rubbish facilities. Pets welcome.

Great place. Caretaker lovely and relaxed. It's like camping in the 90's... Price and amenities very good. Great western (sunset) view for most sites. Brand new playground for kids

Small well maintained camp ground, toilet block was clean and tidy and everyone there was so lovely. The Easter markets were wonderful. Would definitely come back here again.

We had a very enjoyable stay. It was peaceful, power and water supplied. Amenities are older but kept very clean. Would definitely stay again.

The Rathdowney Showgrounds was exactly as advertised. The amenities include a flush toilet, hot showers, covered outdoor kitchen, grill, powered sites and unpowered sites. Bathrooms have a routine cleaner. There was a mix of permanent residents and nightly campers and was walking distance to the pub.

Awesome little place!! Perfect for an overnight stop like we did. The groundsman is a lovely guy and had a good chat with him in the morning. Highly recommend. Sadly we were only there for a night on a long drive so didn’t get to explore the town or the local pub! My dog absolutely loved it too.
