A private botanical gardens!
After being in outback qld coming to stay at Rossâs place was truly like driving into an oasis. Greeted with a grand line of palm trees and a beautiful garden with lush lawns which were so well kept, it was very refreshing.
It was great to be able to feed the turtles, so much wild life, I counted 9 different types of butterflies on our first day there, so peaceful yet only a few minutes drive into town for supplies or to the beach and lots of great swimming spots near by. Good Telstra phone reception too. Loved our stay here, one of our best hip camps so far.

5 stars by the lake
What an awesome location, lovely humans, stunning views. Perfect camping grounds. Lovely little walking path up the side of the house. Close enough to town you can grab supplies but far out enough that all you can see & hear is nature. Loved watching the birds on the lake, the sound of the fountain helped me sleep and my doggy loved the open space to sniff and explore. Also right next to the river perfect for a swim in the middle of the day. Good reception on Telstra. Felt very safe camping here as a solo woman.
Long driveway but not too steep. My Subaru Outback didnât flinch driving the grounds. Will be returning often! Big thanks to Ross and Liz who were excellent hosts and fast to respond to any concerns or questions I had.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY! All the way from the driveway to the campsite is the picturesque scenery of mountains and rainforest. Lots of wildlife to watch through the evening and into the night. Instructions to the property are very clear and description matches what you get. A part from a friendly wave and point to the campsite we didnât see the owners, so a good amount of privacy whilst feeling very safe knowing the owners are close by. Thank you so much for letting us stay!!

𪡠Sound of Running Water
Beautiful and peaceful site. We were greeted on arrival and guided to our spot next to the dam. It was lovely falling asleep to the sound of the water. Would definitely recommend staying on this beautiful property.
