All UPDATES/NOTES listed below are in answer to common questions we are asked - please read all before requesting a booking, especially the need to confirm your 4WD status and camping platform at time of booking request. Our property is 4WD access. See extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD. UPDATE as at 24 March 2024: Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Kobble Creek West is readily accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting you. At this time (March 2024) the creek is generally dry but will flow with heavy downpours in the D’aguilar Ranges. Explore the trails by bike, or check out the hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek West which borders the property, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted. NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately. NOTE: Each site has a stand alone camping toilet bucket, located behind a small shade cloth screen near your camp site. You’ll have a seat to sit on, a lid to close, and the need to throw some Leaves and grass in each time you go.

We really enjoyed our stay over the Easter break, we loved the animals, the friendliness of our host and their family who made wonderful coffees and took us goat feeding. This spot is quite close to cedar creek too which was a fantastic day trip. The grass was just cut back but still quite long with all the clippings around so it made the wet ground a bit slippery, and the pathway to the creek was a little wild too but the owner was lovely and made us aware of this before we trekked down. Beautiful swimming spot with the water flowing on kobble creek.

What can I say this place was amazing! My friend and I went for 2 nights and we loved it, the spot was perfect and I’ve even picked my next one I’ll be a regular to this beautiful place. The dogs loved the dam and how much space we had not being on top of people! But adventuring the property was great fun! Either on foot or in your 4wd. The family is beautiful father and son were amazing helpful and you feel like one of the fam. Highly recommend!!!!

We were so lucky to find this spot last minute for the Easter long weekend. Marcaus and his family made us feel very welcome. They were especially accommodating helping us get all our gear and passengers on to the site and allowing us to park one of our vehicles at their house. 4WD definitely required, especially as there had been heavy rain for a week prior to our visit. We are self-sufficient but the site offers a bucket toilet and a 20L water container (which you can get refilled if required). Quality firewood is also available for a reasonable price. As a special treat for Easter there was also barista style coffee available. The sites are well spaced so you can just see and hear fellow campers in the distance. I stupidly forgot my water shoes so it took a bit of bush-bashing to get to the waterhole but it was a lovely spot to swim. We also had fun paddling the kayaks and canoe in the dam, and spotting all the tiny froglets. Thanks for a perfect little getaway!

Forest Deck Creek View
The Forest Deck Creek View campsite at Kobble Creek Family Farm is a peaceful retreat nestled in nature. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by the hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of magical. The site is well-maintained and private nestled in the forest with a serene creek view, it's perfect for relaxation and adventure. Can't wait to return!

Marcaus was incredibly warm and accommodating for our group! Offering lifts for ease of access around the property and even a tow on our morning of check out. Shoutout to his family for their efforts and coffee skills as well, thanks so much to all. The creek is beautiful and accessible a fair way down with a pair of boots/river shoes and some swimmers for wading. The swim in the creek was so refreshing. Thanks again, Lewis, Fred and Luca
