Enjoy a convenient and relaxing base to discover the best of Hervey Bay at our 150-acre cattle grazing farm located just 3km outside of town, with plenty of space for campers. To access the farm, turn right off the Maryborough Highway into Chapel Rd, then turn right at the picnic table beside the bikeway, and do not drive over the cattle grid. The entrance is right beside the grid with reflectors on each post. If you're having trouble finding the entrance, please call Ray at 0459247041 or Judy at 0459247042. We offer numerous camping sites on cleared land lined by trees, near to our gully and seasonal creek. Each site is private and offers plenty of space. Campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, but there is a 24/7 dump station just 2km away. A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. Campfires are permitted, but please BYO firepit, and there is plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect and split yourself. Pets are welcome too! Kids under 5 stay free and don't need to be included in the booking group count. Check-in is welcome after 9 am and you can depart anytime.

Camping with Cows
We loved our stay. It was an easy stop for our family with great, open access and a grassy spot. The view was beautiful and we loved being able to have a camp fire. Our only tip: take repellent - the mozzies were mean!

When Peace & Quiet is Priority
A tree studded paddock with nicely grassed shady camp sites, close enough to all of the facilities and attractions of Hervey Bay. My kind of nice place, with peace and quiet.

A wonderful stay.
Easy to get to, beautiful location and the night sky was marvellous. Dog friendly with heaps of space for my dog to run around and explore. Would definitely camp here again if I am in the area.

Very hospitable
A very hospitable host, Ray took care of us during our stay and always informed us if cows were being moved near to our campsite area. We had a few downpours during our stay and we were allowed to put down cane mulch and hay and bark to soak up the puddles.
