The Safe Haven can accommodate up to 4 caravans/campers with a communal central fireplace by the water. A seasonal summer stream normally runs through the length of the property from January to May. During this time access to some of the walking trails can be restricted. All sites can be left unattended and secure by visitors for day trips to surrounding areas such as Agnes Water, Seventeen Seventy, the Boyne Valley or various National Parks located within 50klms. Your hosts are always present and ready to assist in any way they can. Dogs welcome. Note: Flushing toilet is located adjacent to the Safe Haven campsite.

From the Marina, you can depart to Lady Musgrave Island, enjoy 1 hr to full day tour on the iconic Larcs and enjoy  spectacular sunsets.The are some must-visit small businesses in the area including Rusty Pelican Fish and Chips, Pancake Creek Tours, Katrina's Bar (for sunset drinks) and Marina Cafe (for best coffee and vanilla slice).There are no facilities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Council's dump point is just 5 minutes away.

We are a short 2 minute drive to the new Agnes Central shopping center, 5 minutes to Agnes Water town centre and local beaches, and a 15 minute drive to the beautiful town of 1770. Site 2 is levelled and just as peaceful but not grassed. Our property is located only a short 5 minute drive to Agnes Water main beach, town centre and 10 minutes to the iconic town of 1770. There are many things to do and see in and around the area so make sure you ask us for some hot tips on where to go and what to do. Comfort is key! Enjoy your very own 5 star eco toilet and shower block. Wash away the day while watching the sunset disappear behind the mountains from our beautiful open air rain water shower. The loo also has a great view. Trust us you wont want to miss out on this experience (Please note: shower is cold water only) Hungry? Ron's Veggies across the road has you covered. Take a stroll down the driveway to see his great selection of locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables. IMPORTANT Please note: We only offer the 2 campsite areas at any one time (top grassed area and compacted pad) to ensure your stay is as peaceful and private as possible, but please note we have live in, onsite caretakers who reside in front of the shed up the top on the grassed area and on occasions friends and family do come up to visit. Please check with us beforehand to see if we have friends or family staying before you book if this may be an issue for you. Please be respectful of our toilet block and ensure ALL children are accompanied by an adult in the shower/toilet facility. Campfires: Fires are welcome in the designated fire pit area or if you have your own off the ground pit but you will need to bring along your own firewood. Animals: Your fury/feathery friends are more than welcome but we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times and not to be left unattended during your stay. Midskinrick has 7 powered sites (no water connection) situated around the dam - large family sites with a firebox on each site. There are, Flushing toilets, Hot showers (small fee applies) Washing Machine (small fee per load) and a Camp kitchen. This price is for unpowered. If you want power, please add this as an extra during booking $10 per night. The powered sites are approximately 450m from the riverbank. There are no water connections to these sites, but fresh water is available for drinking. Midskinrick has 7 sites overlooking the river flats - Septic flushing toilets, Shower room (solar bag not supplied), Drinking water, Camp kitchen area, Firebox - bring your own wood or buy it from the caretaker (please do not source firewood from the roadside due to animal habitats). Hot showers available near the dam area. There is no option to add power here. Strictly unpowered.
