Small family property with a private little lake, we have a great little spot right next to the water with a fire pit. Firewood is available on site. Lots to do and explore in the area including fishing, hunting, hiking, exploring and nature watching. Happy camping. Bon camping.Description française Ci-dessous Family homestead with a small private lake. We have a spot for camping right next to the lake with a fire pit. Free firewood is provided !! We are located right on HWY 155 North and only 10 minutes from La Tuque and all major stores for supplies. Lots to do and explore in the area including fishing, hunting, hiking, and nature watching. We hope to see you soon :) Guests can use my house bathroom or shower if needed, clean towles are provided. 155 North can be busy sometimes with logging trucks during the day. campers are welcome to stay anywhere else on the property. We have 7 acres of woods if you prefer to "Ruff it" Maison familiale avec petit lac privé. Nous avons un endroit pour camper juste à côté du lac avec un foyer. Le bois de chauffage gratuit est fourni !! Nous sommes situés directement sur l'autoroute 155 Nord et à seulement 10 minutes de La Tuque et de tous les grands magasins de fournitures. Beaucoup de choses à faire et à explorer dans la région, notamment la pêche, la chasse, la randonnée et l'observation de la nature. Nous espérons vous voir bientôt :) Les clients peuvent utiliser la salle de bain ou la douche de ma maison si nécessaire, des serviettes propres sont fournies. La 155 Nord peut parfois être occupée par des grumiers pendant la journée. les campeurs sont invités à rester n'importe où ailleurs sur la propriété. Nous avons 7 acres de bois si vous préférez "Ruff it"

Spectacular private view!!

Little Forest Lake was the perfect spot to camp and our hosts were incredibly hospitable and accommodating! The view of the little lake and mountains did not get tiring and there were plenty of hiking trails, parks and beauty to take in nearby! There is a fairly busy road (less busy on weekends) but that was easily forgivable with the spectacular view. The evenings were great by the fire, watching the trout jump. Lots of beautiful wildlife and interesting trees and plants to see. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Forest Lake!

Owner was gone for the weekend but his elderly parents were there, Ziggy and Irene. They were very kind and hospitable. The place is close to several hiking trails 10-15 min away including a waterfall trail in the nearby town of La Tuque 10 stars

Exceptional experience

As advertised and much more. Easy to find, very close to a small town that has all your essentials and a lot of local activities in the area. David, the site contact was nothing less than absolute perfection to deal with. Very kind and very generous Property maintained perfectly, tent sites are flat and the fishing was unexpectedly fun (it was nice to have fresh brook trout for breakfast) Best part: all the fire wood I wanted Will book again!

Charming campsite

Everything was as described, a nice level area with a firepit and firewood supplied, at the end of David's rural driveway beside a charming little lake. David answered my inquiries promptly.
