HoneyBee Haven is a retired seasonal campground on 6 fenced acres on a small but beautiful trout lake. Great swimming, floating & paddling or try your luck at fishing. We have power outlets along with running water throughout many campsites in the yard. The covered fire pit is set up on the sandy beach to enjoy evening campfires while the loons serenade you! We live on site with our 2 large yet playful rescue dogs and a few bee hives! Bring your RV, pop up/tent and spend a night or a weekend.Pitch your tent in amongst the tall pines, or pull your camper up, set up and enjoy the scenery. Kick your feet in the the water on the end of the dock.. take a swim in the clear lake water and enjoy. Toss a fishing line in and fry up a lake trout for supper! Or just kick back and read a book. Take a walk on our 6.5 acre property, and breath in the fresh air. Please respect the grounds - cigarette butts and bottle caps are frowned upon. No pets please or kids - we have 2 large, but friendly dogs who live here full time.

Very friendly hosts with very well-maintained land. The site offers anything you could possibly need and more. Anything from power outlets, to wifi, kayaks and running water was provided. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing

I had the most wonderful weekend at Honey Bee Haven - very peaceful and tranquil, incredibly scenic…magical! Most importantly, I felt incredibly safe here as a solo female camper. Sue and Mike were the kindest, most accommodating hosts and I fell in love with their sweet dogs Bo and Honey Bee. The amenities available are wonderful and I will be coming back for as long as they’re on Hip Camp - I’ve definitely fallen in love with this special little hideaway!

This site was absolutely amazing! The waterfront view was stellar along with sleeping under the stars - perfect way to get away from the city! Additionally, the hosts are absolutely the sweetest and most accommodating with everything!

Awesome Lakeside Camping

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Honey Bee Haven camping site and I can confidently say that the experience was made even more memorable and enjoyable. Thanks to Sue & Mike, they are an amazing host! From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. Throughout our time at the camping ground, the host was always available and willing to assist. Whether it was helping us find the perfect spot for our tent or offering spot for campfire and keep us warm their knowledge and enthusiasm were unparalleled. Last but not least, the host's passion for nature and the outdoors was contagious. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Honey Bee Haven’s host enough. Their warm hospitality, knowledge, and dedication transformed a regular camping trip into an extraordinary adventure. Whether you're a seasoned camper or a first-timer, this host's welcoming presence will undoubtedly enhance your camping experience. I'm already looking forward to returning and enjoying their hospitality once again. The resident dogs Honey Bee and Bo kept us entertained. Happy camping!

Mike and Sue are welcoming and very nice people. The place is a hidden gem, a great place to escape and enjoy some peace and quiet. The lake is beautiful and not crowded at all.
