This is a 120 acres of trees, meadows, wild flowers, farm land, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks on the convergence of 2 Rivers the Mohawk and the McKinzie. There is an empty barn with a bathroom, refrigerator and hot plate, a barbeque is outside the barn. The walks are beautiful. Just 15 minutes from downtown Eugene.This property is 15 minutes from downtown Eugene and 7 minutes from downtown Springfield. This large meadow is surrounded by tall trees along the Mohawk River. Walk to the convergence of the Mohawk and McKenzie rivers. Cows in the pasture as you walk for your swim in the river or to go fishing off the McKenzie. Outdoor shower and toilet attached to the barn. Two composting toilets by the meadow. Bring your own propane camping equipment to cook. Ample space to set up and explore this 120 acre property. Escape to the country but also be close to home.

Airstream nestled in Farm Land

We had a wonderful stay at Jodie’s property. This is truly a nature lovers retreat. The airstream was perfect for a night away to refresh and rejuvenate, the cows and other various critters made for a fun visit. Jodie was very responsive and Jonathan is a great caretaker. Any questions we had were quickly answered. The gorgeous sunrise and walk down to the river were exactly what we needed. Jodie even let us into the barn which was fun to sit and play cards when it got chilly at night. We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful property! Great trails through the forest, fields and riverside. Nice compositing toilets and hot showers. Fantastic host!

Camping in the Trees #5

This is a great spot, we camped here with our 11 year old and he had fun feeding pigs and petting cats. We took a beautiful walk to the confluence of the rivers. We want to come back in the summer to swim and pick berries! Wonderful host

Airstream nestled in Farm Land

The farm was beautiful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and there was everything I needed for a short one night stay.

Airstream nestled in Farm Land

The Farm was beautiful. The trailer was a little older. It was clean and had all the basics. Just a little sprucing up on the interior would be nice but over all it was good. I tried and tried and couldn't get the exterior door in the bedroom to lock.
