Beautiful rivers edge that feels miles from town yet close to town, very quiet, peaceful and private. This property is on the south Santiam river where you can fish, swim, float or just enjoy the waters edge. There is a large irrigated groomed park to enjoy any activity. There are multiple parking areas that have abundant shade for the summers. Great place for kids and dogs. I am offering only one site at a time so you can have it all to yourself. Portable toilet is on siteThis is probably the most private place that you can find, you won't see or hear another soul. It's a great place for kids and pets to explore the rivers edge. There are plenty nice areas to place tents by the river and fall asleep to the sound of water. RV's of any size can maneuver and park on level ground if necessary. There is about a 3 acres irrigates lawn that is shaded by huge trees and is for tents only. You can fish, swim, float and play in the water. There is a bald eagles nest that is usually occupied and you might even get to see it catch fish and watch the little ones. There are geese, ducks, deer, beavers, otters and a lot of other wildlife. It is very private, gated and safe, the nearest house is about 1/4 mile away and you won't be disappointed. We love dogs so bring as many as you like. There is a fire pit or you can bring your own. All fires are to be on a gravel area unless you have a propane fire pit and it doesn't burn the grass. A portable toilet is now onsite

Beautiful location on the river. Would be perfect for a small group of tent campers with the large grassy area.

Lovely spot!

Great spot for a weekend away - easy drive from Portland or Salem, but still feels private and serene. It is a huge piece of property that you have all to yourself! Don’t forget your bocce ball set or favorite yard games, since the large open grassy area provides ample space to pitch tents and play games. There’s still plenty of shade offered by the trees throughout the property as well. The real gem of this property though is your own private rocky beach area right next to the river. It took us a minute to find (entrance to the beach area is down a rocky path), but we were glad we did! Plenty of space to hang out by the river, float around or fish. Super private! The only people we saw were some people floating down the river. The other nice plus was the on-site portable toilet, which was extremely clean and well kept. The only thing I would note to be aware of is it’s a little tricky finding the place. You feel like you are pulling into someone’s driveway - and once you go past them to the spot there’s multiple “do not enter” signs which made us think we were in the wrong place. But that is actually the spot. So as long as you are aware of that, you should be set!

Loved the spot!

If you need to just get away, this is the place! Spent a couple nights, bring a good flashlight because you are out in the woods. Amazing time, Randy and his wife are really nice. I'm sure god wanted him to have this property, because he takes good care of it.

Peaceful place

Stayed in RV with our granddaughter. Easy access. Very peaceful and nice irrigated lawn. Would stay again!
