Our land is home to a plethora of animals along with my husband and I. During your stay you can visit with or just watch our cattle, horses, goats, donkeys, chickens and turkeys along with several species of wildlife. Also, the camping area is behind a gate so you don’t have to worry about your things if you decide to explore the area, unlike a state park or other campground!
Part of our land is cleared for pasture and the rest is undisturbed forest. Three different creeks and hundreds of cedars adorn the land, hence the name "Cedar Creek Farms." Come enjoy the sounds of Ouachita Mountain nature and farm life with us.Welcome! Our farm is minutes from all of the fun that Hot Springs and local lakes and rivers have to offer, but there are plenty of unplugged activities to do here. Especially visiting with the animals. Pitch a tent or park your SUV/ van in the woods, on the side of our cattle pasture, by the creeks or our stocked pond.
These locations are away from our home and you will have privacy. The exception is our new neighbors across the fence depending on where you camp. You also might have some cows, goats, horses, chickens and ducks beg for treats (they love animal crackers or chips and regular crackers!).
Our animals are our family and are all rotten which helps to ensure your safety around them. The only exception is that some of our momma cows and donkeys do NOT like dogs (thanks to coyotes) and they may try to charge them. That's why it is recommended that you keep your dogs on a lead while visiting. The main thing is just to watch the cows (they are like huge grass puppies and they don’t realize how big they are) and you shouldn't have a problem!
Our farm is still evolving and growing so be on the lookout for updates!
Also, firewood is abundant around the farm due to newly cleared areas if you want to gather it. We greatly appreciate the help in picking up sticks in the pasture!
Firewood bundles may also be available for $10 if you just want to pick some up and be ready to go!
Make our home your peaceful get away and enjoy the stress relieving benefits of our animals.
Come see what farm life paired with the beauty of the Ouachita Mountain’s is like!
