Yurt Crazy

My husband and I did a little winter getaway in the yurt. It was so amazing cozy and warm definitely going to go back. Shelly and Trevor are such a delight. Highly recommended getaway

Charming Stay!

This place is a gem. The Yurt is so beautifully decorated and the hosts take care of every detail. It’s so welcoming and inviting. This Yurt is located in the corner of an open field, but the campsites are spaced well and there is a private area at the side and back of the Yurt. The land owner, Kirk, is available by phone to deliver ice, wood and food from his chip truck, and he’s super nice and helpful. It does get quite warm inside, so be prepared for that. This is definitely a rustic stay, but it was perfect for us. The bed was so comfortable, and there’s plenty of areas for lounging. The composting toilet (a bucket with sawdust) is located inside the yurt, which was actually really convenient with small children. It doesn’t smell too strong as long as you follow the instructions. There’s also an outhouse nearby. There is a pond for swimming, and the kids had fun chasing frogs. It’s a small pond but perfect for a quick dip and a paddle. I’m going to recommend the Yurt to everyone I know, and we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed staying in the Yurt. Very nice environment and very lovely inside. The fireplace in the Yurt is great! The farm owner is very kind. We love it!

You will enjoy !

The yurt was a really unique experience and we loved how comfortable it was . You can stare at the ceiling for hours ! Kirk was an awesome host. Great fire wood, pet friendly pond to cool off, saw the deer and wild turkey and enjoyed the farm animals and chip truck . We loved watching the thunderstorms! Glad we brought bug spray as per the reviews . We only had trouble with the stove not working on the bbq Propane tank but we made do. Also, be prepared for the compost smell,although inevitable ,it is pungent even if you dont use it ( we used the outhouse) maybe it can have its own outhouse next to the yurt in the future . Overall ,awesome time!

We greatly enjoyed our stay!

The yurt was beautifully maintained and decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. A very comfortable and peaceful place to spend time in!
