A Caboose is a railroad car with accommodations for the train crew, typically attached to the end of the train, we've converted this into sleeping quarters for our guests. Our Caboose has a wonderful view of King Lake. Just outside its doors you can enjoy a bonfire, swim, fish or just rest and relax! Across the road, we have trails to enjoy all year round. We have a pedal boat, cedar sauna, and guided trail tours. We have about 100 acres and we are on-site and accessible at all times. Learn more about this land: We have a restored train Caboose with two twin bunk beds, it sleeps 4, you're welcome to camp or bring your trailer to our site - reach out to me and we can discuss further to plan out your visit!Enjoy a unique glamping-style experience in our restored vintage caboose that sleeps four people. Our 100-acre property is right on King Lake, providing lake views and a chance to swim, fish, or use our pedal boat. We also have a cedar sauna. Pets are welcome, and you can bring your own tent or trailer, as well, if you prefer to set up camp on our lawn. Across the road, you can explore our hiking trails.  The caboose has two sets of twin bunk beds to accommodate four guests. There is an outhouse, picnic table, and a firepit with a lake view. You may bring a trailer up to 35 feet long, which can be parked on a gravel pull-in site; there are no hookups, and generators are not allowed. The hosts live on site.  The property is about one hour south of the Lake Nipissing town of North Bay. There are trails that can be enjoyed year-round across the road, and the hosts offer guided trail tours. Off the property,  Algonquin Provincial Park is a bit of a drive – about 80 km away – but is a large park with many lakes and hiking trails. Mikisew Provincial Park on Eagle Lake is closer and offers boating, paddling, and swimming. The town of South River is 15 km away and has some restaurants and shops.
