Locust Grove is an 1850s homestead surrounded by private fields and forests. There is a honeybee apiary, maple syrup camp, vegetable garden and small apple orchard (in addition to a number of other fruiting trees and bushes). Other than the host, you're more likely to see turkey, deer, red-tail hawks, squirrels and rabbits more than you are other humans. Learn more about this land: Enjoy the ability to camp in solitude--not surrounded by RVs and other campers. Campers will need to bring their own tents, camping gear, and firewood. The campsite at Locust Grove features lush grass and flowering trees--making for beautiful spring and fall views and cool summers. The space includes a fire pit, an electric light post that includes two outlets, WIFI, and shared use of the full bath inside. As you will be the only campers, naturists, lifestyle groups, etc are welcome -- message host to answer any questions. Please note that you will be parking approximately 30-40 yards from the campsite, which is slightly uphill from the parking area. Locust Grove

Farm country camping!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Locust Grove! The setting was exactly as pictured and described, beautifully manicured camping spot with lovely views of the surroundings. The location is in the country but close to activities in the area. Use of the immaculate indoor restroom facilities was a welcome bonus. Kenny the host is what really made our trip memorable, he couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Kenny is also very knowledgeable about the area and was always willing and available to address any questions. We were even able to purchase some honey and maple syrup that Kenny produced right from his property which was just icing on the cake! Our stay at Locust Grove couldn't have been better and we are looking forward to a future visit!
