The term "wounded healer" was coined by the late Jesuit priest Henri Nouwen who extolled the benefits of vulnerability and sharing one's wounds as a healing practice for both the sharer and receiver. We believe that respite and recreation are an important part of healing, and as we heal we become more effective in our roles as advocates, artists, allies, entrepreneurs and healers.(NOTE: This is a special retreat event for women only, April 20-23, 2023.
