Cabin Innisfree is within 2 miles of Hanging Rock State Park, NC. However out the door of the cabin we offer 12 miles of private hiking trail and miles of our own Dan River frontage. The cabin is in the forest on a ridge- NOT next to the river. It is a mile hike down to one of our Riverside beaches. 20 minutes away is Pilot Mountain State Park.The Dan River company - kayak/canoe outfitter - 8 minutes from our gate, as well as Carolina Ziplines Canopy Tour - 10 minutes away. Mountain bike trails are 2 minutes from our gate.
