Located on our 2 acre property, you can see open fields next door with horses & cows & a distant lake. While renting our fully equipped pop-up camper, you will enjoy using the large fire pit under the large night sky. And if it’s rainy, there’s a covered dining & lounge/bar area with a camping kitchen ready to host you along with games. Also comes with a new propane grill, super clean half-bath outside camping style & stocked with toilet essentials for your convenience. We have two corgis that play & run around on our property as well.
It is near a main road so you may hear some traffic from time to time, but it is very peaceful most of the time. We have no neighbors close by, except the horses and cows. We live on the front side of property facing the main road, and campsite is located at the back facing a fenced area with neighboring fields with horses and donkeys & sometimes the cows wander up on the opposite field. There are large trees that block a view of the main road, hedges that block some of the side road, and newly planted bushes on the opposite side of the fire pit.
While at the fire pit, you may see the back side of our home, but you will enjoy complete privacy from our family if that is what you prefer. You may be greeted by our two curious corgis from time to time but if that is worrisome to you, please let us know and we will accommodate you as best we can!
If you need a more glamping experience, we have a tiny home/glamper on site as well with TV & a plush queen size bed with a/c and heat. Just message me for details if you can’t find it here.
We are just a mile away from Red Oak Brewery & the highway. There’s some awesome breweries and wineries nearby and in Greensboro as well, and we’re happy to tell you where some are if you have questions!
There is a TA truck stop with showers for rent if you need a shower. We’re also not far from a brand new Planet Fitness in Burlington if you have a membership with them and need a shower. Instacart delivers here as well as Ubereats and doordash. There are a lot of close restaurants and fast food and a CVS, so if you have any questions about food, I’m happy to help!Romantic escape for local date nights or quick getaway for anyone. Purposefully kept extremely affordable, studio-tiny home with electric, heating, A/C, wifi, Smart TV & kitchenette w/queen bed. Along w/an outdoor living space overlooking neighboring horses & a lake w/a fire pit for cozying up w/a blanket by the fire or grill some steaks on the charcoal grill. You’ll relax away from the city. 1/2 Mile to Red Oak Brewery or Lake McIntosh Park, mins to Elon College & 15 minutes to downtown GSO.
Although this listing is for two adults, we understand you have your kids with you sometimes, so we have can bring out a pack n play for you as well as a camping cot, just let us know if you need them.
Studio apartment style with an outdoor shower & toilet. You can see the neighboring horses, cows and a donkey on your way to the bonfire area. Brand new cozy sheets and pillows with a quilt and blankets. A makeup table with lighting next to the bed doubles as a desk for working remotely with free wifi. You can rotate the TV to see it from the bed or while sitting on the love seat.
The bartop kitchenette was made for two. Has a two burner stove, small fridge, electric tea kettle, coffee kuerig, French press and pots and pots. It has everything for two people if you bring a meal or cook on the charcoal grill at the outside dining area. The outside area is a shared space.
Come inside if it’s raining and cozy up to a movie on the couch, and put the electric tea kettle on or have a drink with a faux fire behind you. If it’s chilly out, the fireplace can be turned on as well as the little portable furnace to keep you toasty warm inside the Villa.
Enjoy the hot shower under the stars or on a hot day leave it cool and watch the horses by the lake. Shared space.
*During inclement weather, the outdoor shower closes for the season, i.e. storms, snow/ice and freezing temps in January and February.
