Magical oasis in the mountains
Captain Philip and the crew (shout-out to caretaker Rob) have worked very hard to create a slice of paradise. Despite chillier weather than expected we had a VERY hard time leaving. We will be back!

We LOVED this place! The property was well taken care of, gorgeous creek running next to our site that our dogs loved, fresh chicken eggs straight from the coupe, very friendly staff, couldn’t have asked for a better camp spot!

Premium Site....Budget price!
I have camped for 50 of my 66 years. Every sized tent, every size camper. This place is awesome! Very flexible host and caretaker. All sites are on a bold stream....lulls you to sleep. Huge open grassed meadow for children and pets to stretch. Bath room is just a porta potty shower is new, clean, and very nice. Buy your firewood from Robert...you'll get twice as much from him than any gas station store. Max Patch (near by hike) is top of the world gorgeous. Like the movie Sound of Music....you can see in every direction for miles and miles.

Camping fun!
We had such an amazing time at the campsite. Caretaker Rob was a huge help & we appreciated everything he did for us and showing us where everything was.

Philip’s land is gorgeous! There were a few other sites decently spaced out from each other but we ended up having the whole place to ourselves! Site #1 is definitely a must if you plan on bringing your own tent. It’s the most private and the creek that runs by it is beautiful and creates the best white noise when it’s bedtime.
