Enjoy our secluded campyard surrounded by towering pines, gardens, chicken coop and young orchard from under the shelter of 150+ year old black walnut trees that'll provide plenty of shade to lounge in during the day. Looking to explore off-site? Taughannock falls state park is a short 5 minute drive and you won't want to miss its impressive views of one of the tallest waterfalls east of the Rockies or the chance for a quick swim in Cayuga Lake at their lifeguarded beaches. Looking for some delicious food? We are 7 minutes from some great farm-to-table options in the quaint village of Trumansburg, or drive 12 minutes to downtown Ithaca where the culinary options are endless. Oh, did we forget to mention we're between BOTH the Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake wine trails? And it's not just wine - a short drive up either lake shore will have you exploring wineries, cider houses, and distilleries if you wish! Additionally, Watkins Glen is 20 minutes west of us where you can enjoy one of the most beautiful state parks in the area or rent kayaks and paddle boards on the Seneca lake waterfront or check out their restaurants and raceway! We are pet friendly and you are welcome to have your pet off-leash as long as it responds reliably to recall commands and will not harass our other animals on-site (chickens and rabbits in enclosed runs as well as a resident dog and cat that go in and out of the farmhouse).Come enjoy the natural beauty of the the finger lakes region while supporting our mini farm! We have all sorts of campsites to choose from in our camping yard, whether you prefer to pull-in and stay close to your vehicle under a circle of towering pines, or take in a view of the historic farmhouse and yard, gardens, chicken coop and young orchard from under 150+ year old black walnut trees. From Memorial Day to Labor Day you are welcome to beat the heat by cooling off in our in-ground pool! (Please note: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when in the pool area) We currently only serve tent campers as our sites are walk-in (short walk) so please do not book if you intend on staying in an RV or camper van. We can accommodate check-ins as early as 3pm on weekends if you notify us at time of booking. Looking to explore off-site? 10/10 Excellent hosts and site

Excellent hosts. We didn’t meet Dayna, but her partner Mike was there and was very nice and helpful. We showed up later than expected and he gave us a tour by flashlight before we called it a night. The property is gorgeous and quiet except for the occasional car that drives by late at night. Perfect for us since we were just looking for a spot to set up a tent for the night to check out all the local state parks in the finger lakes.

Dayna was responsive and available when we arrived! She texted throughout the process. I was last minute in booking but I knew I didn't want to camp on grounds full of people. Her yard was spacious and mostly private. Great firepit on the grounds! We bought eggs and firewood from the host. I am used to "roughing it" so no showers didn't bother me, but the composting toilet was something I can not say added to our experience. The proximity to the Taughannok Falls and Robert Tremen State Park are a very big plus for booking here! There is some road noise but I would trade that for people noise any day!

Valhalla Farm Tent Camping

Dayna was very nice and her land is gorgeous!!! She has firewood bundles you can purchase and a wonderful fire pit. There are chickens and a cat that roam the property in harmony and were a delight to watch! This place is great for low maintenance campers. There is a pump for well water and a tent toilet (of which I was to scared to use so I went to local coffee shops in the mornings). Overall a great experience!

Great Camp

Nice large open area with a fire pit/chairs and a set of large trees for lots of shade. Owners were kind, offered assistance when needed and otherwise kept to themselves. Was a good experience.

Valhalla Farm Tent Camping

Dayna was a wonderful host; she gave me plenty of privacy but was always available when I had questions. She had great recommendations for restaurants, music venues, and local hikes to check out. Her land is a little slice of paradise! It's clear how much time and love she invests into her gardens, they are truly stunning. I only wish I could have stayed longer, it was a much-needed respite on a beautiful property.
