This is a "glamping" site! Our historic property is situated on a main road, yet feels secluded. There's a small cemetery on the property with tombstones from the civil war era. Hiking trails where you can find treasures from the past. Big plans and adventures start here! Lives have been changed from staying on our property. Come, dream, plan and start your future from the deck of your tent where you'll be afforded plenty of privacy. Learn more about this land: Our historic property is situated on a main road, yet feels secluded and was one of the first settled in our county. Our farmhouse was built in 1840! There's a small cemetery on the property with tombstones from the civil war era, hiking trails where you can find treasures from the past, birds and wildlife galore. Edge of the Woods is an open camping area on the south side of our property at the edge of a field and where the woods start. It's very private and has an incredible view of the river valley. You can pitch your tent here! This is listed as 5 sites, but are intended to be rented together for families or groups. Any booking over 2 sites or over 6 people will require to add the port-john rental extra. Big plans and adventures start here! Lives have literally been changed from staying on our property. Come, dream, plan and start your future from our property where you'll be afforded plenty of privacy. Please note, we welcome all people of all races, cultures, gender identities and sexual orientation and we do not tolerate any kind of bigotry or racism on our property. We have two big fluffy dogs, Ursa and Harty (well, Harty moved out with my son! Boo, but he does visit from time to time)! They are both Livestock Guard Dog breeds and if you bring dogs (which you are welcome to do!), we request you keep them near the campsite, but humans are welcome to meet them. We can give you all sorts of tips about our favorite nearby outdoor, art or food attractions! Also great spots for fishing, hunting or kayaking! We are:3/4 mile to a Susquehanna River boat launch12 miles to a Delaware River boat launch15 miles to Binghamton and Binghamton University Campus5 miles to Animal Adventure with the famous giraffes!5 miles to Nathanial Cole Parka few hours to New York City and much much more.

Cannot recommend Little Sit Farm (Edge of the Woods specifically) enough. Alexis and Mitch were wonderful hosts, and the site was perfect! Very clean and private. Highly highly recommend staying here!!

The hosts were really sweet and attentive from the moment I booked my stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mitch who showed us to our campsite. Overall, we were very pleased with the entire set up- potable water, grill, table (though we brought our own), firewood and a porta-potty. Also, the sensor lights really came in handy at night! Our two dogs got to run around and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer but we hope to be again! It was the perfect getaway for us city dwellers. Thank you!

Great host, great spot!

Alexis & Mitch have a nice farm. The camping spot we stayed at had 2 areas to hang out in - there's a fire pit in the woods which allows you to stay cool, and another fire pit out on the edge of the field if you want some sun and views. There was a portable toilet, a shade/changing tent, both charcoal and propane grills (if you have small propane canisters), and a trailer with 30 gallons of fresh potable water. The place is only a mile from a boat launch on the Susquehanna river. You probably want all-wheel drive to get through the field (in case it rains) and if you're camping in the field there's a slight slope that didn't bother us. Great host, great spot!

The site we had was even better than we expected. Mitch was very helpful in explaining everything we needed to know when we arrived. Beautiful place and we would absolutely come back and recommend to others!

Amazing Hosts

Alexis and Mitch were great hosts! Very welcoming and friendly. Upon arrival they met with us and showed us to our camp. Was very pleased to find extra water had been brought up to the camp for our use. They even set up a temp shower (which after our river float trip was perfect). They set up lights in the pathway from the field to the wooded camping area. Plenty of room for tens of all sizes inside the woods a few people from my group set up in the field due to arriving late. We had 2 fire pits inside the woods and one outside in the field for late night stargazing which I highly recommend the stars are so bright here! Overall our experience here was great! I would highly recommend this site!! Will be coming back again in the future.
