Primitive camping

Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Primitive camping on a secluded 22 acre parcel nestled just above babbling Cranberry Creek. The property is wooded forest with a variety of trees. Cross the footbridge over the creek to reach the campsite complete with a campfire pit and picnic table. Within hiking distance to Texas Hollow State Forest and the Finger Lakes Trail. The campsite is a short drive from Watkins Glen, Seneca Lake, breweries, wineries, etc.Secluded 22 acre parcel along a rarely used dirt road. You can set up camp in the designated camping spot near the creek, or hike in further to discover the pine grove or the forest clearing. Camping is primitive, please carry out whatever you bring in. The property is located on Texas Hollow Road.

Cranberry Creek Camping

This was a nice little campsite for a secluded weekend getaway, the walk from where you park to the campsite is about 200 ft off the road, between the bumpy path and open walking bridge I wouldn't recommend bringing rolling luggage. We found a decent area to set up a six man tent near the picnic table. Also there is a nice grill overhanging the fire pit if you don't want to bring all your cooking gear. There is a lake, several wineries and watkins glen all within a short drive of the site. Overall we had a great weekend and will probably be back

Cranberry Creek Camping

Gorgeous and Secluded Spot

My friends and I really enjoyed this spot over the July 4th weekend. It was quiet, secluded and exactly what we needed to unwind. The creek was magical and filled with lots of frogs and fireflies. The bridge was absolutely surreal. Even though it rained heavily during our stay, we had an absolute blast exploring cranberry creek. We did have a big storm and a tree ended up falling in my car so be mindful of where you park.

Really secluded, quiet and beautiful site. Short walk from where you park your car, which makes you feel like you’re really in the middle of the woods
