Our property is situated on a working apple and cherry orchard at the base of Mount Canobolas, 10 minute drive from Orange. The region has much to offer including amazing wineries and cellar doors, quaint villages with artisans shops, hot air balloon rides, waterfalls, the Arch Cave and more. Here at The Orchard visitors are welcome to pick their own fruit in season, at a cost. Please speak to your host if you are interested. There are plenty of local food and wine venues in the surrounding area for you to enjoy. Lake Canobolas is close by for swimming and there are a number of walking/ hiking trails in the beautiful Mount Canobolas National Park. Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property to please keep them under control. Campfires are allowed as long as there are no fire restrictions in place. Amenities are available for campers. A shower and toilets are also available to campers.

Night time lights in the sky
Camping on Tracey property was perfect it was peaceful and great location to Orange and you can walk to wineries. The apples are delicious and the sunsets are fantastic however the highlight is the night sky’s to see the stars shining so brightly and a very clear Milky Way. Tracey has some amazing plans for her property and we will definitely returning to see how she is tracking thanks for a wonderful time 🤗

Best of both worlds
We camped with a bunch of other families over the easter weekend and had an absolute blast! Location is far enough away from Orange to feel remote and see the stars at night but close enough to grab a takeaway pizza if you need to. I was going to say wine, but you’re surrounded by world class vineyards so… To give you an idea of the camping vibe; The site is well supported with hot water 🚿 and a flushing toilet but you’ll need to bring loo roll. There’s a fire pit that you need your own firewood for and there’s drinking water that has a unique taste so we used our own. Given it was one if the busier camping weekends of the year there still felt like there was lots of space from other people. Finally Tracy our host was super helpful, getting us into our site and giving us a rundown of the place. We didn’t see her again after that but her adorable dog Zephyr usually put in an appearance around meal times 😉 If you want to feel like you’re camping in the wild but with the safety net of civilisation then you’ll be hard pressed to find something better.

Site 4 - The Orchard
The location of The Orchard was perfect. Not too far from Orange, but far enough that you felt like you were away from it all. The space for camping is generous and we didn't feel like the next group were too close to us. The facilities are basic but functional and more than suitable for our family. Tracey was friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying at The Orchard to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away.

Great location to explore Orange
Tracey was a very accommodating host and went above and beyond to find a suitable spot for our van. There is plenty of space in different locations around the property and toilets, showers, water and a full laundry available for use. The location is perfect for exploring the many cool things to see around Orange. Loved it.

We had a great time here. Great hosts. It was so peaceful and great having a toilet, hot shower, and a place to wash dishes with hot water. There’s an amazing vineyard a reasonable walk away.

Peace and tranquility
Beautiful setting with lots of open grassy space, surrounded by fruit trees and vines - felt so peaceful. Tracey was helpful, kind and friendly. Kids loved being allowed to pick some apples, and the curious visits from the friendly dogs. Use of showers, toilet and laundry was also much appreciated.
