Need a break from your travel on the road? Treat yourself! The Nature Lodge is a newly built luxe farm stay with private riverfront access for swimming, kayaking or bass fishing. Offering total peace and seclusion but only a short 3 minute drive from the vibrant village of Uki. The Nature Lodge is a fully equipped two bedroom residence which sleeps 4 guests (2 queen beds), sheets and linen included. Wake up each morning to the sound of the running river and beautiful valley views. At night, soak in our two person outdoor tub whilst counting the stars next to the fire pit. The Nature Lodge has TV, wifi, a nescafe coffee pod machine, fully equipped kitchen and shower with a wide rain head. There is plenty of space to park your camper, come and enjoy a night or two off the road in relaxed luxury. Suitable for a romantic getaway, tranquil solo retreat or for families who enjoy getting back to nature. The campgrounds themselves are located on 27 acres mixed acres lush rainforest, rolling paddocks and river flats, the 1.5 acre campground is a one minute stroll to the banks of the Tweed River providing easy access for kayaking, SUP-ing, bass fishing and swimming or wander the creek bed and keep your eyes peeled for crystals amongst the river stones. Campsites are set in an open, clean paddock with lush soft grass. All sites are within close proximity to a large all-weather shelter perched high on a hill, equipped with solar festoon lighting, a large timber table with chairs and a firepit which all guests are welcome to use, perfect for BBQing under on a drizzly day or enjoying lunch out of the sun. Campfires are welcome and each site is provided with a private firepit for use. You can purchase hardwood for your fire as an add on if you like which will be waiting for you on arrival. Animal lovers welcome. The campgrounds are located on a small hobby farm so you'll enjoy sightings of our highland cows, horses, ponies, free ranging ducks and chickens, donkeys and even our neighbours camels. Turtles are often sighted at the river and if you're lucky you may see the local platypus. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. We have rainwater available at the shared BBQ shelter but this is not potable. Our property is 2WD accessible (paddock base so at your discretion), and can accommodate caravans, campervans, camper trailers. We recommend the Valley View or Hilltop Sites for larger vans or non 4WD vans for ease of access however all sites are accessible for 4WD vans and campers. In wet weather 4WD are recommended as our grounds are a paddock base. This site is prefect for families and travellers who enjoy getting back to nature and soaking in the energy at the base of one of the Three Sisters that bounders Mt Wollumbin. We loved the campsite, so quiet and private. Was a good base for us to go and explore.

First time off grid and could not have picked a better one than this. Certainly gets hot inland but the waterhole was a pleasant relief. Then no sooner than evening drinks time and we get a log fire going… daylight saving at its best provided long evenings and the stars were plentiful.

We enjoyed our stay. The site we chose was site 8 which was not quiet what I expected as the land was not as level as I thought it would be. I would like to suggest that they level out enough area perhaps 2 sites for caravans. The property is rolling land and the flattest site I would say would of been up near the Watertank and shelter which is site 2. We stayed 3 nights and the first after setting up we enjoyed the time on the property. My grandchildren loved the short walk to the cows in the neighbouring property and to the river. The river was muddy after the rains. 2nd day we went to the beaches which are about 30-40 minutes away. Great scenery all around the area. The 3rd day spent swimming at the pool in Nimbin which has free entry. The weather was great the views were nice looking up to Mt warming. We met Jamie and her husband when they delivered the wood for the firepit, nice couple.

Unfortunately the site doesn't have the creek running next to it and you need to leave the gate and walk along the road. The creek wasn't as nice as expected either but changes with weather of course. . Property was peaceful and no biting insects when we were there but not much to do and land isn't flat.

A good modest site that is close to Uki and other local attractions. Site 5 was afforded a nice piece of shade, thanks to the silky oak and bush lemon tree. Jaime is a great host that communicated well and welcomed us onto site.
