River side RV parking
We had a great stay at River Side. Great site for vans with plenty of space and level ground. We parked up right next to the river and took full advantage of the tree lined bank. Very easy access that most vans could handle regardless of off road capability. Richard was very welcoming and lucky to have such a lovely property! We can definitely recommend this Hipcamp.

Our New Favourite Place
Fabulous grassy campsites along the banks of the Cataract River with plenty of room to spread out yet still a good distance from the next campsite. You need to be self-contained as there are no toilets, showers or drinking water on site. There’s no phone service but who cares when you have shady trees, beautiful views, plentiful wildlife and a clear flowing river just metres away from your camp, just chill and relax. Riverbend is a working cattle farm, sure you’ll probably encounter cow pats when you go for walks etc, but the river’s right there to wash your shoes if you accidentally tread in a fresh one and the best thing is, it doesn’t stink like dog poop does. The cattle were docile and didn’t visit our camp, not that we would’ve minded. We loved the serenity, swam in deep holes and sat in shallower crystal clear waters along the river. The starry night sky was beautiful and we loved seeing the full moon rise over the ridge. We didn’t get to the fishing hole, so ask Richard how to get there, if that’s of interest to you. Tenterfield is 30 km away, in case you need supplies or for adventure seekers, history buffs and boutique lovers alike to get their fix. Richard’s property is stunning and we’re so lucky that he and his family are enjoying sharing their space with us. We can’t wait to see what sites he develops in the future and we’ll definitely be returning often. We highly recommend Riverbend to other self-contained campers.

River side RV parking
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riverside RV. Our site was fairly private, grassy and afforded relatively easy access to the beautiful Cataract River, perfect on a hot summers day. Road access to the campsite was good and Richard was a pleasure to communicate with.

Truly magical place
Richard farm is truly a magical place. Our family have just spent 4 days here celebrating our little boys birthday. The river is so crystal clear and safe for our little kids both under 5. The sunsets were unbelievable, we can’t wait to come back in the winter time for a camp fire.

Camping Creek frontage
Such a relaxing spot. The sites were very generous in size. Richard had slashed the area before we arrived. Access to the creek was really easy to get too, just a few steps from the caravan. It was cool and clear. Thankyou to Richard for having us. We will be revisiting for sure
