Only 15kms (15 minutes) from the popular Nimbin and 70kms (1 hour) from the Gold Coast airport. Major country towns nearby are Murwillumbah (40mins), Lismore (45mins), and Kyogle (30mins). There are also loads of hidden water holes scattering the area. National Parks also surround the area. Campfires are permitted when fire bans are not in place.

Shed Space

This campsite is located in the backyard of the hosts home. Nice property with wallaby sightings, two ponds, and a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. 15 mins to Nimbin, 10 minutes to Mebbin National park, 10 mins to Hanging Rock swimming hole. Covered camping area provided. Shower and pit toilet provided in the hosts home, with a shared entrance. On the day we camped, there was minimal privacy as the hosts family was home and a man living in a caravan next to the only campsite. The host was unable to provide a definite answer on whereabouts of the other resident and if he would be returning that night or not, which left us with an unsettled feeling, so we booked another campsite that night in the National Park 20 mins away.

Easy as it gets

Great place and even better host. Easy to locate and very simple lay out. Very easy place to come back when looking around the area. Host was very easy going and made sure we were looked after. Would recommend
