Binghi Station Located approximately 4.5hours from Brisbane, Queensland, or 1.5 hour drive west of Tenterfield, New South Wales. Binghi Station, once a large sheep station, was a thriving tin and gem mine from the late 1800 to mid 1900. Set on 4,000 acres of natural granite rock country and untouched overgrowth of lush tea tree bushlands, the sheer beauty of the land will, without a doubt, leave you breathless of its raw natural beauty. Binghi Station surrendered to the ravaging bush fires of 2019, however, after this devastation came some much needed rainfall which brought hope; the creation of new life in the form of rich, vibrant green country not seen since the 1980’s. You can explore endlessly on this raw outback property. Discover secret hideouts, come and enjoy a swim under our flowing waterfall (for those brave enough to during the winter months!) and simply relax and soak in pure wildlife beneath a million stars in the night sky. We strongly recommend access by 4WD only as the entry 6klm driveway is rugged and very bumpy in most places due to heavy rain fall past 12 months. Please ask for more details if necessary should you have any concerns based on your equipment. Its an ongoing maintenance. The Secret Gorge site is suited to swags, tents and camper trailers. It is not suited for Caravans over 15' due to a tight corner. Other site locations are suited to off-road 4WD caravans and camper trailers. Binghi Station - an extraordinary place to make some truly wonderful family memories. :-)

Great place to chill out!
Spent the Easter long weekend at Adrian's property. This was our first Hipcamp and it did not disappoint! Adrian was a fantastic host, he even did a camp oven feast, which was great! If you're looking to escape the hussle and bustle and chill out, this is the place for you!! Thanks Adrian

Shearing Shed Campground
Beautiful country and campsite. Lots of bird around! Adrian provided toilets and non potable water. Road into Binghi Station was quite rough but we managed to get in and out with our four wheel drive VW Transporter albeit slowly.

Shearing Shed Campground
Great spot. The gorge was my favourite area. We stayed at the shearing shed and had heaps of space. Adrian's campfire cook up was delicious. He was very helpful and lent my friends a generator when they had battery charger issues in their caravan. The driveway is not for the first time caravaner though. Experience in 4WD is required to navigate with a caravan in tow.

Beautiful serene camp spot!
What a beautiful serene spot! Absolutely loved the peace and quiet of this camp site, all you could hear was the birds, we slept so well!! The rock water holes were so picturesque and fun to swim in. Adrian came to say hello a couple of times and was very friendly. The track in was challenging, but fun! Would definitely like to come back one day.
