Gateway between Death Valley/Amargosa and Pahrump/Las Vegas; in the shadow of Shadow Mountain and the Last Chance Range. Last Chance Ranch is just about a quarter mile from BLM boundary with boundless desert exploration. This site is almost all natural, but over time will be made into a camping destination with amenities for explorers traveling between Death Valley and Las Vegas. The property is actually 3 consecutive 5-acre parcels near Belle Vista Pahrump. All the surrounding parcels are still undeveloped and exploring is allowed, but only my parcels allow permission to stay/camp. The boundary of the north parcel is marked by Survey stake. There is a wash on the east side that is fun to explore along with a green belt. Just watch your step as the ground is soft. Unfortunately, people

Unfortunately, people have dumped some trash on site in the brush- so any cleanup efforts from parties are hugely appreciated, and parties will be welcomed back for free next visit. This place is quiet, and private! The site is open range and a plethora of wildlife come in and visit when people are not around. If the unlikely event were to occur where you are approached by a wild burrow (donkey) please keep your distance, and please DO NOT feed. They are unpredictable. Coyotes and rabbits also frequent the area, but remain distant. There is a cellular trail camera set up facing out toward the trail, and NOT towards the camp area.
*update 2/21/22:
The drive and pull-through areas have been cleared of debris and graded. New picture shows aerial of the camp area (feel free to park and camp wherever the camper fits) in the private areas protected by mesquite trees. Since the winter season was dry, the area dried up considerably and is a bit dusty. Plans are in place to lay road base aggregate on top of drive areas to improve stability and cut down on dust. Will update when completed.
