Near Glacier National Park

Within a 30-minute drive from the West Glacier Entrance.

We landed here a few years ago and fell in love with the sunsets and the quick access to town (both Whitefish and Columbia Falls)! There are two sites, just off Highway 40, and close to our house. We think these spots are best for the quick overnight campsite as you're on your way to Glacier.This campsite is just a few minutes from downtown Whitefish, on the way to Glacier and Columbia Falls. Located right off of Highway 40, this is a wide-open field in front of our home where it's easy to maneuver an RV, van, or trailer. It is within walking distance of the Whitefish River, so you can head down to take a swim or paddleboard. At this point, it's dry camping only as we don't have bathroom facilities or hookups. The highway is close by so there is some road noise but we often sit outside without noticing it, and the sunsets are incredible! We think this spot is best for a quick and convenient stop-over campsite if you're on your way to Glacier National Park. Since we have neighbors close by it's not as private as you might desire for a longer-term stay.

Close to Glacier!

This is a leveled place with grass with no shade (plenty of sun for solar panels though). 10 min from Whitefish or all services. 30 min from Glacier NP. Katie was very welcoming!! I recommend!

Location, location, location!

Katie and Scott's place was a perfect spot for our family and RV. Great location and easy access to Whitefish, Glacier and Kalispell.

Warm, welcome stay.

Katie was warm and welcoming on our arrival. Kids had a blast on the pump track. Friendly heads up to bring the bug spray!
