On a road trip looking to get out of the city, we found a run-down, absentee landlord property off of MO-142. The land had potential, but was neglected. We contacted the owners, bought the property, and started the cleanup. Mountains of garbage and signs of neglect everywhere. We worked hard, loving the land, listening to the land to make it clean, peaceful and full of welcoming energy. Carving out campsites in a loving way, creating an atmosphere that is both peaceful and mindful. Close to the Davidson and Tingler Prairie Wildlife area with plenty of hiking and wildlife to view. Primitive campsite fire ok

Amazing time!

I have never experienced such welcoming amazing hospitality! Alfred was so kind to invite us to stay inside since it was going to be so cold and we not only had a wonderful time, we left with new friends who feel like family. I’m so glad we were led to Wyte Rayvn and cannot wait to come back! If you feel called to come spend time here don’t hesitate and just go!

Primitive campsite fire ok

Sustainable lifestyle very relaxed

Very lovely family. I enjoyed my visit. The wooded site is pretty and isolated just enough to hear the birds and all the night sounds. I saw a deer, bunny and plenty of chickens. The current bathroom setup was less appealing but heck, I was roughing it. Enjoy!
