Once a main railway for lumber in Hancock County, this small 24-acre homestead, acquired in 2010, is home to a variety of farm animals, edible landscaping including multiple varieties of fruit trees and small vegetable gardens. Completely wooded at the time of purchase, the farm is still a work in progress. Daily farm life involves upgrading fences, clearing the 5-acre pasture, building animal pens, installing rain catchment systems, composting, harvesting, canning, baking and our favorite....... feeding the furry and feathered friends. Pitch your tent in our wooded acreage nestled along side a flowing creek bed. Relax on the sand and watch the squirrels play or close your eyes to meditate with the sounds of nature. A true primitive camping experience awaits you. You can fish in the pond for your own dinner and gather eggs for breakfast. Try snacking on farm breads and biscuits with homemade jellies. Depending on the season, picking wild blackberries or some of the farm produce available gives a glimpse into the daily life of living at Creekside Farm. Our goal is to provide an unplugged experience for you to unwind and get back to nature so you can release the stress of everyday and enjoy the nature and serenity of our little farm. Inquire about homesteading classes and our bi annual homesteading festival. Classes are on Saturday mornings in January/February. The festival is a small but super packed event in the fall and spring each year. Creekside Farm Co. Homestead
The campsite was very beautiful and the creek was close by and fun to explore, we found many different colors of clay. All of the people were very nice to us and our group and answered any questions we had. It was a great trip and we would definitely come back

Very friendly helpful hosts. We had a lovely time. The kids splashed in the creek, they also loved seeing the animals, and playing on the climbing spider web. Beautiful place. It got a bit noisy our first night, it sounded like we were surrounded by barking dogs.. but other than that it was great!

Amazing doesn’t do it justice….
Where to begin…… We arrived on a Friday evening and it was fast approaching getting dark out and we were ushered down to campsite 4 which was a wonderful little spot for us to get acquainted with camping again and allowed for some trial and error but the site was easily accessible and provided us with plenty of shade and wildlife to enjoy an amazing weekend, but it gets better fast forward to Sunday morning and your waking up and rolling out of the tent from a wonderful nights sleep and still stretching and taking in all of the wonderful sights and sounds just to be greeted by smiling host with probably some of the best biscuits and strawberry jam south of mason dixon line. Will definitely be returning and inviting friends and family to join as well.

Fun times, great host!
Lovely spot, but it was the hospitality that put it over the top. So nice to chat with Alicia who had local lore and info to share. She checked in with all her guests, showing baby ducklings to the younger crowd and showing up at our site with slices of delicious birthday cake after dinner. She pointed us to the beach and directed us to local points of interest. It is not hard to understand why she is rated #1 in Mississippi!

Where the Road Ends, Creekside Farm
This is our family's fourth trip to Creekside Farm and we love it, thanks Alicia and fam 💞! This camp features large camping sites, tons of farm animals, tall trees, a truly awesome communal kitchen and dining area and of course the fun creek to play in and explore! Every time we come back, there are welcome improvements, this year, my twelve year old was keen to spot the QR codes that allowed us to have fun scavenger hunts and learn things about gardening, history, culture and more! Additionally, there's fresh eggs and provided she hasn't sold out, jams, jellies and other delicious offerings from Alicia's gardening endeavors. We will be back because it's always such a relaxing visit for me, as it reminds me of my childhood, and endless fun for my daughter and her friends. Yesterday, Alicia introduced my daughter and her friend to two new ducklings and they were absolutely enthralled! This morning as we were about to leave, she began planning our next visit. Thanks so much Alicia, You really are the best!! Much love from New Orleans, The Family Tree
