Since his time, people have been working to keep this beautiful forest safe from fires, protecting the jack and red pines that cover most of the acres, along with the birch, aspen and oak trees. Thanks to the preservation of this land, you can enjoy a whole bouquet of outdoor activities, from ATVing to boating to hiking and horseback riding. This is eastern Minnesota wilderness at its finest.
