Learn more about this land: We have an 80 acre homestead on a dirt road with clear, flat places to park an RV or vehicle and woods for camping or hiking. You can camp or park in several places around the property and have complete privacy from the house. You’ll need to bring your own drinking water and there are no restrooms available. There is an RV dump station 5 miles north at McCormicks gas station. Feel free to ask questions. We look forward to sharing our beautiful space with you. We are two “young” folks with a budding farm and homestead. We have horses, cows, sheep, and free range chickens around a 100+ year old barn. You are welcome to respectfully interact with the animals, but be careful of the electric fence! Our rural setting is quiet and peaceful. There are often 20-30 deer in the fields at dusk. Yet, we are only ~15 minutes from Lake Michigan, ~25 minutes from Grand Haven, and ~30 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. The Musketawa Trail is 4 miles directly north. There is also a pheasant hunting farm just a mile or so north. We have an 80 acre homestead on a dirt road with clear, flat places to park an RV or vehicle and woods for camping or hiking. The Windy Homestead Campsite
Not the best but not the worst place we’ve stayed for the price. Land was pretty flat for the rooftop tent. There was just a bush hog perimeter of cut grass and the center of the field was overgrown. Wasn’t marked where to park but the response was quick upon inquiry. Was really buggy back by the woods so we stayed close to the road. Which worked out to provide shade upon sunrise. Had an amazing sunset view! Spot is right beside a blueberry farm and there wasn’t anyone working the field so it was quite. Not too many people driving down the road either. It’s gravel so people drove slower when they did drive by.

John was very very kind. He gave me multiple options for camping car side. His farm was quiet and beautiful. It was rustic and just what we were looking for.
