Teepee on the back 40
We had a great trip to the teepee! Nate's wife was kind enough to offer the cabin (with cots/mats for 4) for sleeping, which was great because our tents would not have fit in the teepee. The teepee would be great on a colder night in the fall or spring but was a little hot for 90 degree days, still great at night. The outhouse is pretty rustic - just a hole for squatting but there's a nearby gas station with toilets.

Great spot - beware of mosquitoes
Excellent place to stay! Sleeping in a teepee is so much fun! There are plenty of mosquitoes at night, so bring a net to hang over yourself while you sleep. Building a small fire helps a lot too. There was a tote with newspaper to start a fire, and some nicely split firewood as well.
Nate was super nice and showed me to the spot when I arrived. Beautiful stars, quiet location, and uniqueness all make this a wonderful site. Would recommend!

Best host!
Great site and fantastic host! The teepee was very cool to hang in, I slept in my text. Plenty of privacy. Once the sun finally went down the stars were awesome, it’s so far from cities. Lots of flies and mosquitoes so plan for that, one of those head nets is key till you’re able to make a nice Smokey fire.
I arrived on a motorcycle and the host Nate grabbed his and offered to take me for a ride to show me around which was a blast!
