Located within the borders of the only protected UNESCO World Heritage Site within Manitoba, our unique area is known for deep boreal forests and untouched wilderness. The Ojibwe name for this area is Pimachiowin Aki (pim MATCH - o win - a KEH) which means "Land that gives life" and "Living the good life on the Land".
