There is a lot of history in this land. It's been in my family for over a hundred years. They worked the land with their hands and so have I. It's a special place. Come see for your yourself and be our guest at The Harrican! Learn more about this land: Unplug and unwind at this two story cabin built right on the water in the heart of the Kentucky Wildlands! Even though there is complete peaceful seclusion it does get a little noisy when the bullfrogs start their evening ritual. There is a dock and pier perfect for fishing or swimming. Firepit, grill with gas provided, two boats, fishing poles, lots of seating on the wrap around porch, two bedrooms; one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds and just lots of natural beauty and peace! The BIG update everyone has been waiting for; the plumbing and electricity are now complete! We have all the ammenities to make your stay comfoetable and relaxing! The Harrican Lakehouse

Our family loved our experience at the lake house! There were plenty of amenities/supplies and the house was cozy. We had a great time fishing (our son got to catch some of his first fish here!), hiking around, and enjoying many meals on the wrap around porch. Our dog also loved roaming around exploring the land as well. We will be back!

This was our first adventure into “glamping”. We are so impressed. We bought so many supplies/cookware/etc. because we didn’t know what to expect. Bridgett provides so many essentials. The beds are absolutely comfortable, so many utensils, cookware, etc provided. My kids Loved kayaking, hiking, and cooking on the firepit. As complete newbies- this was the perfect spot to try out a camping experience. We had everything we needed, and more. I can’t recommend this place more. I have 0 complaints and the highest praise for this special spot. I think we really lucked out finding this place first. High standards going forward. I think the only problem I have now is booking vacations that meet this expectation. We are a family of 5 plus a dog. Loved this vacation

Hammock House at The Harrican

A lovely stay in a beautiful spot. My car camping trip went exceedingly well with beautiful views and pleasant walks. This is definitely the spot for dog lovers as the pack visited once or twice but otherwise left me to myself. And the stars at night! Recommended.

Bridgett is the perfect hostess willing to jump in and help in any way she can. The lakehouse is the perfect getaway ,it's beautiful and offers something for every person to enjoy. The Wedding Rock is the perfect venue for a wedding of any size the entire property is so peaceful. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking to get away for awhile.
