Willow Springs Farmstead is an old homestead settled in the late 1800's. The 11,000 sqft barn on the property was built in 1878 with massive timbers and lots of history to be explored. The farm is currently home to our family and our passel of farm animals and is located just 8 miles from the small town of Colfax. It is quiet and peaceful and the night sky loves to show off the Milky Way.
Nearby you will find lots of cute little towns with antique shops and quaint downtowns to explore. There is a great little fishing hole just down the road and lots of good hiking and wildlife viewing in the area.

We have a lux glamping tent, containing 1 California king bed and one queen bed. There is additional space for at least 2 people to sleep on the floor. The Glamping tent is designed on a wooden deck, where you can enjoy beautiful scenery, soaking in What Glamping is all about.
The glamping tent includes a stove, where you can cook food and keep warm at night. (Wood is needed).
Both the basic tent site and your Glamping Getaway site have Access to a modern bathhouse with toilet and sink. (This house is mere steps away from both sites).
Your site has a panoramic view of theof mountains and cda lake.
There are designated areas to park in the dirt driveway. (The parking number will be given to you on booking).
There is a fire pit and outdoor picnic eating space, available to all.
(Wood for the stove & fire pit , as well as food trays and wine, are available at an extra charge.)
We pride ourselves on cleanliness. The glamping tent is deeply cleaned, with new sheets and pillowcases, and duvet cover, after each stay.

We have 3 acres that includes our house, the studio (your home base), garage, greenhouse, and a couple storage sheds. The studio is most comfortable for just 2 people, but there is an extra foam queen mattress and bedding available. Our property is surrounded by and dotted with trees, with a peek-a-boo view of the Palouse. We have swaths of grassy yard, an orchard, and several raised beds in our garden. Aside from India, the only other place in the world campers can uncover natural star garnets is in Idaho, especially near Potlatch. The Emerald Creek Garnet Area in Saint Joe National Forest, just east of Potlatch, is a specially designated spot for campers to collect these unique crystals, which have four- or six-ray star patterns when cut. Advance tickets must be purchased online. Western larch and white pines surround nearby campgrounds with basic amenities like vault toilets, potable water, and fire rings. Once crystals are collected, spend the rest of the time reeling in bluegill and bullhead catfish from Saint Maries River and looking for local wildlife like moose, timber wolves, and river otters. For lakeside campsites overlooking Lake Coeur d’Alene, head about 40 miles north to Heyburn State Park. The oldest state park in the Pacific Northwest features ponderosa pine forests, flower-filled meadows, and over 2,000 acres of water. Take a load off here in year-round cabin rentals with electricity, picnic tables, air conditioning, and firepits.
